Written to be read, not to protect us. If anything here is unclear, message us and ask, we will answer and then fix the wording.

First, which situation you are in
There are two, and they have different answers.
You contacted us, or you are our client. Then we decide what happens to your information, and everything below applies to us directly.
You messaged a business that uses our tools, a club, a salon, a café. Then that business decides what happens to your information and we act only on their instructions. You can ask them, or ask us and we will pass it to them and make sure you get an answer.
What we collect when you contact us
Your name, your business name, the phone number or email you contact us from, and whatever you choose to write to us. That is all.
We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect anything about you from anywhere else.
What the assistant handles for our clients
When someone messages a business we work for, the assistant needs a few things to be useful:
The phone number or social account the message came from, so the business knows who it is talking to. The name, if the person gives one. The message itself, as text or as a voice note. What was booked, when, which service, and the price the business quoted. A short note of where the conversation had reached, so it does not ask the same question twice. And technical message identifiers, so the same message is never answered twice.
It does not ask for anything else, and we have never designed it to.
We do not sell data to anyone, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not give one client access to another client's information.
How long we keep it
An enquiry to us: while we are talking, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back.
The note of where a conversation had reached: a short time only. It exists so the assistant does not repeat itself, and then it is no longer needed.
Bookings: for as long as the business needs them as a record of its own trade.
Voice notes: transcribed, then not kept by us as audio.
And whenever anyone asks us to delete their information, we delete it.
Your rights
Under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022, in force since February 2026) you can withdraw consent you gave us, ask us to correct or update what we hold, ask us to block it from being used, ask us to erase it, and be told if it is ever exposed in a breach.
To use any of those, message us on WhatsApp or send an email. We will reply within thirty days and it costs nothing. We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that we are not handing your information to somebody else.
If you are not satisfied with how we answered, you can complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, which supervises this law in Oman.
Marketing messages
We only send marketing or promotional messages to someone who has agreed to receive them, because the law requires that agreement in writing and because unwanted messages are how a business loses a customer.
Reply “stop” to any of them and they stop. Loyalty card notifications are part of the card you chose to add to your phone; remove the pass from your wallet and they end with it.
This website
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, and no third-party script watching what you read.
The contact form sends what you typed to our own server, where it is stored so that we can reply, and sends a confirmation to your email so you have a record of it too. The server runs on Cloudflare's network and the confirmation is delivered by Resend, an email provider. Neither is given your details for any purpose of their own. The form also offers a WhatsApp link instead, which assembles the same message on your own device and opens it without sending anything to us first, that route is still there if you prefer it.
The two typefaces are served from this site. There is no Google Fonts request, so Google does not see your IP from a font file.
How we protect it
Everything travels encrypted. Access is limited to the three people who run Wasl. Passwords and keys are stored as encrypted platform secrets and never written into our code or shared over chat.
We will not claim to be unbreakable. If something does go wrong we will tell the people affected and the regulator, and we will say what happened rather than manage the wording.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we change this page in the same week and update the date at the top. We will not quietly widen what we are allowed to do with your information.
Asking us about your data
Message us on WhatsApp or email us and say what you want, a copy, a correction, or deletion. A person answers.
